1944, Morin Lumber Company, Montana: Bigfoot Rolls Logs into Workshed

Nightwatch man, Bruce Halfer, heard a commotion up on the ridge above his little workshed. The workshed is where he sat between walking his round around the Morin Lumber yard.

Halfer went out and shone his flashlight up the ridge where he heard the noises. He saw a dark figure on the ridge, three times the size of any of the men who worked at the lumber yard. And so dark that the figure seemed to absorb the light from his flashlight.

Halfer heard the sharp crack of a tree breaking, then heard the distinct sound of a log rolling down the gravel hill. Half did not hesitate, he ran in the opposite direction as fast as he could a several large logs smashed into his night guard workshed. It was completely demolished.

The next morning, in clear day light, Halfer and his boss investigated the site where the logs tumbled from and they found large bare footprints all over the area. Halfer was convinced he had been attacked by a Bigfoot.

Parke Warmaiden and his family were packing up their campsite. His youngest daughter, Madison, was sitting in the back of their SUV watching Harry and the Hendersons on the backseat monitor.

During a scene where the fake Bigfoot is having a loud fit, a real Bigfoot came bounding out of nowhere. The creature threw open the side door of the SUV. Madison claims the Bigfoot looked really upset, as it pushed on the small mounted tv monitor.

Finally, after pushing on it for a few seconds, the DVD of the movie popped out. The Bigfoot grabbed the DVD, broke it in half, then shook its head at Madison. The girl thought the Bigfoot was saying to her that she should not watch such bad movies about Bigfoot.

At no point was the child frightened by the creature, but she was slightly upset by the fact that one of favorite movies’ DVD was broken.

1996, Avacado Lake, California: Swimmers Attacked by Bigfoot

Teens Bailey Davidson and Stephanie Gonzales were swimming in Lake Avacado. The lake is notorious for the high number of drownings that occur each year. This statistic did not affect the teens’ choice to go for a swim though after their scary encounter that day, neither would ever swim in that lake again.

The girls were both accomplished swimmers, Davidson was on the high school swim team and Gonzales had been on the swim team.

As the two friends swam, something hairy and large came floating by them. At first, Davidson thought it was a log. Gonzales thought it might be a beaver. But when the hairy object got closer to the girls, they realized it was a huge humanoid creature.

Davidson recognized that the creature was a Bigfoot and she let out a ear splitting scream. The Bigfoot started trashing and splashing and growling and spitting as it kept swimming straight at the girls. Gonzales dove underwater and swam as fast as she could back to shore. While Davidson swam off in the other direction.

By the time the Bigfoot realized the girls had gone in opposite directions, it was too tired to do much more than float away on its back, sunning its massive, hairy belly.

Ashlee Price had been partying and drink Bud Lights all afternoon when she wandered away from her friends. Price was upset about something Vicky said to Connor about something that happened at Taylors two weeks ago. Which was totally NOT true.

Price stumbled up an undesignated part off West Bluff Trail. She thinks she may have been looking for somewhere to pee. Suddenly a large creature rushed at her and shoved her down. She looked up at the monster and recongized it as a Bigfoot.

As she scrambled backward, the Bigfoot kept approaching her. Price managed to stand up. That is when the Bigfoot pushed her again, this time send her over the side of a 25 foot drop.

She broke her leg and elbow in the fall. He friends came running when they heard the gleeful howling laughter of the Bigfoot. The monster was doing a little dance and pointing and howling with what Price interpreted as mockery of her.

Price made a full recovery, but had a difficult time convincing the authorities that a Bigfoot pushed her and not one of her drunk friends.

2001, Forked Run State Park, Ohio: Rocks Thrown at Hunters

Vinny Dick, Jr and his hunting buddy Danny Drake had set up their tree stands a few hours before sunrise. They were already four beers into their twelve pack and had not seen a single white tail bopping around the forest. The pair drank in silence. Waiting.

The first rock hit the tree next to Dick’s head. Shards of stone and bark hit the side of his face. The second and third rocks hit Drake in the chest and shoulder. The impact made him drop his rifle to the forest floor.

The rocks flew fast and furious after the gun hit the ground. Dick managed to stand up and shout that he was going kill who ever was throwing rocks them. He managed to get that out before a rock knocked his hat off and broke his nose.

Drake jumped from the tree sit and rolled his ankle pretty badly. He managed to crawl behind some boulders that shielded him from the barrage. Dick was not so lucky, he tried to climb down the rope ladder, but kept getting pelted in the back and legs with rocks.

Dick was bruised and bleeding when he hit the ground. By the time he crawled over to the hiding spot next to Drake, the rocks had stopped, but he howling began. At that point, it became clear that the two had been under attack from an angry Bigfoot.

Dick thinks that the Bigfoot wanted to hunt that same area and was upset by competition. Drake is thankful to be alive, really.

Jeff “Brickman” Brickman and Rod “Tray” Traynor were mountain biking down the Middle Finger trail. It was around dusk and the light was breaking up as it filtered through the trees.

Brickman was leading.

“Tray was totally trying to catch up,” Brickman continues, “I could hear him huffing and puffing like a little bitch.”

Traynor just sniffles.

“Anyway, before I know it, there is this monterous scream and then there is this hairy dude…”

“Creature,” Traynor interrupts.

“…Yeah, this big muscly creature like a ‘roid head from the gym, you know. And just as effing hairy too. Like one of them Armenian plumbers, I knew in Fresno,” Brickman bragged.

“Yeah, Brickman, used to live in Fresno, in case he hasn’t mentioned it yet. He will, about a billion more times,”” Traynor spit his chew into an empty Monster drink.

“So anyway, this creature is just howling and screaming and waving its long hairy arms. I thought I was at an Edgar Winter Concert…”

“Who?”

“Edgar Winter! Man, he is this albino scientologist wicked guitar player…” Brickman started to air guitar.

“Whatever, man, get back to the bigfoot…”

“Right. So this damn Bigfoot, ’cause that is totally what the creature was, man. It was a huge stinky bigfoot and he started hauling ass after us. It comes barrelling down, crashing through the tress and shit. Tray sped past me. I could tell he totally pissed his pants too!”

“Aw man. You did to. Especially, when that bigfoot started chucking rocks at you,” Traynor said with a red face.

“Yeah, it totally did. But I don’t think he was trying to hit me. Not really. I mean if that bigfoot really wanted to it could have totally annihilated us, son. I mean, personally, I think it was just effing with us.”

“Yeah you might be right. I mean it did just stop. Just like that,” Traynor claps his hands in front of his face.

“Me, personally, I think bigfoot is kind of a dick,” Brickman said stoically.

Traynor laughed and laughed.

1995, Targhee National Forest, Idaho: Police Officer Shoots at Bigfoot

Off duty police officer, Walter Norman was driving home along Old Chick Creek Road. Suddenly, his car was hit with rocks. At first, Norman thought he hit a pothole, but when the rocks started falling on the hood and roof of his car, he knew he was under attack.

Norman pulled to the side of the road. He used the spotlight on the side of his car to scan the bushes and trees. That is when Norman saw a black mass, over five feet wide and darkening over 12 feet high. When he shown the spotlight directly on it, the mass only got darker.

Norman saw the mass throw a rock at his car which hit the back widow. Norman jumped out of his car and identified himself as police. The mass tossed more rocks at him, at which point Norman fired several shots into the mass. There was a monstrous scream and then a tremendous rustling as the mass scurried off into the woods away from the road.

Norman crept over to where the black mass had been. He noticed a thick reddish fluid which was consistent with blood and tufts of dark black hair. Norman left convinced that he had been attacked by a Bigfoot and had, at least, wounded the creature.
