1996, Avacado Lake, California: Swimmers Attacked by Bigfoot

TODAY IN BIGFOOT HISTORY!

1996, Avacado Lake, California: Swimmers Attacked by Bigfoot

Teens Bailey Davidson and Stephanie Gonzales were swimming in Lake Avacado. The lake is notorious for the high number of drownings that occur each year. This statistic did not affect the teens’ choice to go for a swim though after their scary encounter that day, neither would ever swim in that lake again.

The girls were both accomplished swimmers, Davidson was on the high school swim team and Gonzales had been on the swim team.

As the two friends swam, something hairy and large came floating by them. At first, Davidson thought it was a log. Gonzales thought it might be a beaver. But when the hairy object got closer to the girls, they realized it was a huge humanoid creature.

Davidson recognized that the creature was a Bigfoot and she let out a ear splitting scream. The Bigfoot started trashing and splashing and growling and spitting as it kept swimming straight at the girls. Gonzales dove underwater and swam as fast as she could back to shore. While Davidson swam off in the other direction.

By the time the Bigfoot realized the girls had gone in opposite directions, it was too tired to do much more than float away on its back, sunning its massive, hairy belly.

  1. Considering the repeated recognizable stench that Big Foot is known for; It seems highly questionable that Big Foot would be swimming in water which would be akin to bathing.
