1977 Eldorado National Forest, California: Jon-Erik Beckjord Encounters The Bigfoot Tribe

Jon-Erik Beckjord was hiking in the Eldorado Nation Forest searching for the fabled Oak Gorge Hissing Worm when he stumbled upon some definitive Bigfoot evidence that would change the course of his life, forever!

Beckjord claimed that while inspecting what he thought was a very soft tree for the trail of the Hissing Worm, the object he thought was a tree morphed into a large wooly Bigfoot.  The creature rose to its full height of 12 to 15 feet, smiled a face expanding grin that seemed to have far too many teeth.  Its eyes sparkled like diamonds in algae water.

Beckjord could tell that the creature meant him no harm.  In fact, he felt it actually was inviting him into its strangely beautiful world.  As the Bigfoot creature started to disappear in front of his eyes, Beckjord realized that all the “trees” around him were, also, Bigfoot.

Beckjord came to an immediate understanding that he had witnessed a Bigfoot Tribal Meeting.  And that this meeting was an annual event that included Bigfoot from across the country as well as from other dimensions.  Beckjord would spend the next fifteen years investigating, gathering evidence, and communicating with the Tribal Elders of Inter-dimensional Bigfoot.

  1. I spoke with E.B. on the Bigfoot Forums several times (while the main site was down), and genuinely liked the guy. When the normal forums came back online, I discovered he was banned, and he was called “he who will NOT be named”. Apparently he went buck wild on the forum, and was genuinely disliked by most. . .Maybe he was annoying and over the top, but I liked the guy, and I don’t apologize for it.

I soon discovered he had died within a month or so of me speaking to him. I still remember verbally sparing with him, and the last word(s) he said to me were “BOINK!” I’m not exactly sure what that meant, but it was funny at the time. . .Rest In Peace Erik. And to the people who started the site “erikbekjordisdead.com”, go screw yourself.
